Photo Set-Up:
Even National Parks can have unsightly backgrounds- and to the left of this photo was a huge caravan park! I've learned that the viewer of a photo will follow the gaze of the subject and I should have had Rita facing the other way for this photo, however we wanted to show the details on the left side of her costume. Despite this, this is still one of my favourite photos.

Ive had this sitting in my inbox since you posted it b/c I was trying to think of what to say OTL
I absolutely adore this photo! There are so many different layers which brings so much depth; however your eye is still drawn to her, as the main focus. I agree about the direction of her gaze, nevertheless this is a fantastic photo! 8D

This is beautiful! It kind of reminds me of the ruins you take Rita to when you first recruit her. This is a great setting and the shot is gorgeous!

Again, I don't know anything about this series or character but I like this. It feels like a still from a game or something, I think the edit of the bars adds to this! :--)

I actually really like that she's facing the left - I don't know anything about the character or game because I haven't played the Tales of series however it looks very nostalgic because of the way you've left so much of the background behind her. I really like it, really great shot with lovely colours!

This is a great picture! ^__^ The composition is clearly well thought out, and the pose is very Rita-esque. I agree that it would be stronger if Rita were looking the other way, and I think the picture might look better without the black bars, but that is just my personal opinion.

Thank you for your thoughts! I like putting the black bars on because it makes the photo seem like it might be a still from a movie, but I might be using them incorrectly. When I get back on my computer I'll play around with removing them and see how it looks. :3
